Based in St. Genevieve, Missouri, Sharo Shirshekan spent nearly three decades as a business developer in nearby Farmington. He established Farmington’s Health Care Management, a senior care management firm, in 1995. As a leader at the firm, he supported the development and growth of Illinois and Missouri nursing homes, with a focus on both resident care and profitability. He ultimately took on the management of more than 60 nursing homes throughout the region. In several cases, Sharo Shirshekan successfully turned around failing and closed nursing homes, turning them into profitable care facilities.
During his career as a business developer, Sharo Shirshekan has established a track record for being very hands-on with all of his projects. His best-known properties in the region include Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, along with an amusement center in Bonne Terre, which he donated to Harvest Christian Centre. He has donated many properties and resources to philanthropic and charitable organizations such as the East Missouri Action Agency and Helping Hands Ministries, among others.
